چکیده

abstract using mathematical models for irrigation management have great impacts to increase irrigation efficiency and product amount, in fields. in this study, simulation results by swap model for moisture, compared with soil profiles moisture values, measured in the field. moisture data, measured at three wheat farms in the neyshabur plain, were used to predict moisture. results show good agreement between simulated and measured moisture values. r2 coefficient values was 0.611 for farob roman farm, 0.648 for haji abad farm and 0.679 for soleimani farm, respectively. model absolute value was between 1.5 to 2.9 percent and root mean square error (rmse) value was between 1.9 to 4 percent. according to these statistical indices, swap model has been able to simulate moisture, in soil profile in different depths and times, accurately. therefore, swap can be used for irrigation management in neyshabur plain, with relatively sufficient accuracy.

One-Dimensional Soil Moisture Profile Retrieval by Assimilation of Near-Surface Measurements: A Simplified Soil Moisture Model and Field Application

The Kalman filter assimilation technique is applied to a simplified soil moisture model for retrieval of the soil moisture profile from near-surface soil moisture measurements. First, the simplified soil moisture model is developed, based on an approximation to the Buckingham–Darcy equation. This model is then used in a 12month one-dimensional field application, with updating at 1-, 5-, 10-, an...

Estimating profile soil moisture and groundwater variations using GRACE and Oklahoma Mesonet soil moisture data

[1] In this study we estimate a time series of regional groundwater anomalies by combining terrestrial water storage estimates from the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite mission with in situ soil moisture observations from the Oklahoma Mesonet. Using supplementary data from the Department of Energy’s Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (DOE ARM) network, we develop an empi...

Recent Advances in Profile Soil Moisture Retrieval

Remote sensing provides a capability to make frequent and spatially distributed measurements of surface soil moisture, whilst recent advances in affordable Time Domain Reflectometry probes allow continuous monitoring of profile soil moisture at specific points. We believe that reliable estimation of the spatial and temporal variation of profile soil moisture on a routine basis will require a co...

ارزیابی مدل‌های رایانه‎ای SWAP و LEACHC در آبشویی مزرعه‎ای املاح خاک درمنطقه چاه افضل استان یزد

Since performing field experiments for determining the optimum amount of water for soil desalinization is costly and time consuming, use of computer models in leaching studies has received more attention. However, the accuracy of the results of these models should be evaluated by comparison with the results of the field experiments. In this study SWAP and LEACHC models were used for the simulat...
